The Zahara Women Veteran Community

The Zahara Veterans Network, Inc., community was designed to encourage women military veterans to: connect to each other, share resources, generate ideas, and promote positive dialogue that helps the advancement of the entire veteran community. It is accessible through affiliation with the organization and extended to a limited number of government offices that have programs that assist the entire veteran community. 

Emissary

Emissary is the woman veteran seeking the highest level of support for Zahara Veterans Network, Inc., and engagement with the community as an affiliated supporter. She will have access to a zaharavets.org email address, usage of the organization name for veteran representation at conferences or events.

Ambassador

Ambassador is the woman veteran that seeks to show support for Zahara Veterans Network, Inc., and has some involvement with the veteran community on an individual basis. She may attend a few veterans events a year, but maintains autonomy in her representation.

Delegate

Delegate is the woman veteran that supports Zahara Veterans Network, Inc., and maintains little involvement with the general veteran community. She rarely attends events and primarily seeks information to share or support herself or other veterans on an independent basis.

Gov Service Office

Veteran Service Officer is an individual that is employed by a federal, state, or local government agency that has programs and services designed to assist the veteran population. They are limited to general Zahara Veterans Network, Inc., groups and discussions, and unless they have submitted the required documentation of military service of the individual to obtain assignment to a specific military group or service.
